DEVIL BALM!

Newton Conover High School Foods 2 Honors Class is partnering with the
FCCLA Club to sell Devil Balm to raise money for the FCCLA Club efforts.  FCCLA is the student-teacher organization for Family and Consumer Sciences.  Mrs. Johnson’s Foods 2 Honors Class has again this year created Devil Balm, an All-Natural, moisturizing lip balm!  Unlike last season, the students have produced a variety of flavors for their customers to choose from:
Vanilla, Peppermint, Dulce de Leche, Mango and Cappuccino.

Additionally, the artwork used in the marketing materials was created by NCHS senior Christopher Yates.  Our students chose to use a play-on-words in our artwork and continue the act of “dropping the bomb”, as used by Coach Beam and our NCHS football team, and we feel that Christopher’s illustrations do just that!  Another improvement made by our students is the addition of luxurious Shea Butter to our lip balm formula; all this in a sleek, “edgy”, black colored tube.  Every item is hand crafted by the students in the classroom.

Devil Balm will be sold during lunches and at home Athletic events beginning December 4th and will be available through January 16th, or while supplies last.  Prices are $2.00 for students (with NCHS I.D.) and $3.00 for staff and general public.  Receive a coupon with your first purchase and come back for more!

Custom orders can be obtained by contacting Mrs. Marilyn Johnson via email at marilyn_johnson@nccs.k12.nc.us
